Music has always played a big part in my life. I listen to many different genres, plenty of classical and jazz, with a good dose of eclectic alt/indie thrown in. Each month I make a playlist of what I’ve enjoyed as I’ve worked. They’re usually about an hour long, contain 18 songs (not sure why 18, it just works…) and are a mix of interesting and captivating tunes new and old, from murky and moody to light and downright catchy.

Why I Do What I Do

The best thing in the world is when I receive word back from happy customers who love how they feel when they wear their new items. When you feel good wearing good clothes, you do good things, and create good memories.

I love what I do, even during the challenging times when I need to work, work, and then further re-work that seam, or things feel a little too quiet for my liking, business wise (hey, happens to us all, doesn’t it). Makes the victories feel that much sweeter.

So please forgive a little bit of blatant self-promotion, but as I’ve been adding and sprucing up my socials, I noticed that some beautiful people have said some awfully kind things. Here’s a smattering of a few of them.

Nora, the Glamper Camper

Time to show off the Glamper (aka Glamorous Camper) in you! This retro kitschy print, redolent of days by the lake, full of sun and fun, with a little cheeky flirting built in. The top has great support with the bottom band, side darts and top pleats to flatter and fit your curves. It’s completely lined and the neckline tie is adjustable, with the main fitting component being the underbust band. Note the pretty little lake blue buttons at the back. Passion Play in Purple

Oh So Very Merry May

Thank goodness for April Showers, as they bring May Flowers. Or in this case, the beautiful May floral print dress. The classic style is fun, feminine and flirty; great for daytime (think lunch out, an easy dress to throw on and look pretty while out running errands because you never know who you’ll run into, do you?), and lovely for a casual evening out or wedding. The gorgeous, fresh cotton floral print from Spain (such a nice hand to it) in a lovely lavender periwinkle blue refreshing for spring and summer days and nights (or days that turn into nights, for that matter).

A few details about the dress:
The bodice is self-lined front and back.
Bodice has deep V-neck with bust darts for fit and stylized empire high waistline.
Bias cut flutter sleeves drape beautifully to just above the elbow.
Invisible back zipper closure.
Semi-fitted through waist and hip, in a gentle a-line to just above the knee with an invisible hand stitched hem.

Gorgeous lavender periwinkle blue floral print with highlights of fuchsia, white, and green. The lightweight cotton from Spain has such a lovely drape – not too heavy, not too light – perfect for spring and summer.
