Meet Gina – the first dress in my Good Clothing Company line! She’s lovely in an easy sleeveless sheath style made in a fun retro-inspired fabric called Italian Bubblegum. Once I saw the fabric, I couldn’t resist; it’s so delightful. The style is reminiscent of the sixties, but contemporarily updated for today.

Sheath style with French Darts that keep it easy and cool on warm summer days
Finishes above the knee
Sleeveless
Soft rolled wide bias collar that sits comfortably
Invisible back zipper and slit
Made of a fine Italian Jacquard Polyester and fully lined
Hand sewn invisible hem and hand-tacked lining (it’s my pleasure to do so :-))
Fabrics are pre-washed
This dress was such a pleasure to make. I binge watched Fellini flicks while making this as the fabric was so in the spirit of the 50’s and 60’s. I truly loved working with the fabric; it’s of medium weight, so not too heavy, but keeps its shape well. Washes and dries like a dream and the texture and colours are so fun. I wish you as much fun wearing it as I had making it.
